The Solution
Designed with our Nobilia kitchen furniture range from our sister brand, Laings Directline, we created a minimalist design for our customer’s kitchen which offers plenty of light, space and storage for kitchen clutter. The T-shaped island and corresponding canopy above adds drama to the space and provides informal seating. As a contrast, the bar, created using our Laings kitchen furniture range, is dark and brooding. It includes a smoked mirror splashback, granite worktops in Silver Paradiso and Buster & Punch handles. The utility room features raised laundry appliances, a clever hidden storage solution for the vacuum cleaner and spacious sink zone.
We designed the bathrooms in a palette of concrete greys and whites. On the ground floor, we created a stone console with glass pendant lighting for guests and a large walk-in shower with frameless shower enclosure. Upstairs, we made a feature of the lie-ins in the roof, off-setting the basin on the console unit and mirror above it. The main family bathroom features a capacious free-standing bath and large shower with backlit recess. Each bathroom includes an industrial-style matte black towel warmer for added luxury. Finally, our customer wanted to create a sense of continuity throughout the ground floor, and selected Italgraniti floor tiles from our Tiles & Flooring department.
