Not only that, our installations process is system driven and managed by our expert Installations Department, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail at every stage. To project manage each installation effectively, we undertake the work in three key stages.
They will issue you with your Laings Installation Programme – a detailed schedule of works – which breaks down the installation process and provides an estimated onsite timeframe for each of the trades that will be working on your job.
Every installation we undertake is fully project managed. After issuing you with your Installation Programme, our installations team will keep in touch with you throughout the build, providing you with regular updates and visiting your property to check the progress of the works.
We do everything we can to ensure every project is completed on schedule – that’s why we create a bespoke Installations Programme for every customer. However, there are occasions when delays do happen. These are usually the result of a requirement to undertake additional works, if an issue is discovered during the build, or goods arrive at our premises damaged or faulty. We will inform you of any issues as soon as they arise and rectify them quickly to avoid deadlines slipping too far.
Our Installations Team will issue your Customer Care information when they complete your project at your property. The information they provide will include operating instructions and manufacturing warranties. One week after completion, our Installations Coordinator will call to ensure you are happy with the finished result and ask you to sign-off the project. Once confirmed, she will provide you with your Warranty Terms and Workmanship Certificate, providing you with the security of a Six Year Limited Workmanship Warranty. We pride ourselves on supporting our customers long after their installation is complete. Should you have any issues or queries in the six years following your project, our Installations Coordinator will be your point of contact.
