The kitchen was to be incorporated in a contrasting, contemporary extension to the rear of the house. The client wanted this to be a sociable room where cooking, entertaining and relaxing could all be done together. The kitchen to sit in harmony between the old and new elements of the home. The space was to include a large comfortable breakfast bar for informal, social dining.
