We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our sustainability journey. Our Inverurie showroom, proudly one of the largest in Scotland with over 120 kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms on display, has recently undergone the installation of 125 state-of-the-art 500W solar panels, underscoring our commitment to achieving net-zero emissions.
Amid rising operational costs and energy bills, it was the perfect time for this initiative. By installing these solar panels, we are not only reducing our reliance on conventional energy sources but also covering approximately 40% of our showroom's electricity needs.
Managing Director, Darren Walker, emphasises the significance of these sustainability steps for Laings:
